“Just Cremation” Package





This is our basic cremation package for those who “just want to be cremated.”

It includes transfer of deceased from place of death into our care (within our service area), obtaining all necessary permits, filing death certificate, notifying Social Security, sheltering and refrigeration before cremation, cardboard cremation container, and a temporary urn.



On-Your-Own “Celebration of Life” Cremation Package





This package is for families who prefer to do a memorial service on their own at a location they choose.

This includes all items in the Just Cremation package, plus helpful information on how to set up a memorial service, any adult urn (bronze or wood) listed on the website, and a memorial package that includes a custom guest book, 150 custom printed memorial cards, 50 thank-you cards, one personalized candle, and creation/submission of obituary to one newspaper if desired.

( Note: Newspapers charge their own publication fees for obituaries; these vary from paper to paper and are not included in the package.)



“Basic Veteran” Cremation Package





This is our simplest Veteran cremation package. It includes all the items from the “Just Cremation” package, plus an Americana Urn, obtaining Veteran Burial flag, and a flag case.



“Veteran Tribute” Cremation Package





This package pays tribute to those who have served our country; it makes use of veteran benefits available at the time of death. It includes all items in the “Just Cremation” package, plus a sheet bronze personalized urn with the branch of service insignia, coordinating and directing service in the Georgia Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Western North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery or Chattanooga National Cemetery, scheduling of military honors (including flag folding, details, and Taps) and submission of obituary, if desired.

Note: Newspapers charge their own publication fees for obituaries; these vary from paper to paper and are not included in the package.

The goods and services shown on this page are those we can provide to our customers.

You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.

Services include: conducting the arrangements conference; consulting with family; shelter of remains; preparing and filing of necessary notices; obtaining necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating with the crematory. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our overhead costs.

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations.)

Direct Cremation: $1,640

Our charge for a direct cremation (without ceremony) includes: basic services of the funeral director and staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, care of remains, transportation to crematory, necessary authorizations and crematory fee. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternate container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are fiberboard.

• Direct Cremation with container provided by the purchaser: $1,640

• Direct Cremation with a fiberboard container: $1,695

Note: There is an additional cremation fee of $595 for individuals over 350 pounds.

Nationwide Away-From-Home Protection

(U.S. Only)
If you are away from home or move out of the area and death occurs, your family must contact us immediately (as opposed to contacting another crematory in that area). This ensures we can arrange through our network to honor this provision.

The General Price List does not include prices for certain items you might ask us to buy for you, such as cemetery charges, newspaper notices, clergy/church fees and fees of other crematories. The prices for those items will be shown on the statement describing the cremation goods and services you selected.
